About the event
Burger fans! Come one and come all! This is the event NOT to miss! Here's your chance to try several different burgers from all over the region! Also in the house will be local beverage and businesses! This will be an audience and judge driven vote!
This event will include several burger businesses competing in different categories. There is a wide range of different burgers to satisfy every taste bud: traditional beef, unique, vegan/vegetarian, seafood, chicken etc. Attendees can purchase a burger slider flight (like a beer flight) and taste 5 to 6 burgers for one price. This is a great way for everyone to be able to vote for their favorites. Yes, we will have other food/beverage vendors as as well as shopping vendors.

Why should a sponsor NOT support this event? About me, I am a military spouse and a Navy veteran. I do events because I enjoy bringing people together. My events in the past have been successful! I am expecting to have this event bring in over 1000 people which this includes families. I am a true believer in bringing families out and having activities year around so families can be together especially since I am no where near my family. This event is 100% kid friendly as it will feature trick or treating, kid meals, and the playground at the ballpark will be available.
Jennifer McMillenHi! I’m Jennifer! A little bit about me, I am a Navy veteran and I am an Army spouse. My husband is active-duty Army and we are stationed at JBLM. We moved here 2 years ago from Germany. We are a family of six. We have three children that are 13, 9, and 7. Plus my mother-in-law lives with us. I claim Texas as my home state.
While I was a SAHM I did a variety of things: event planner, travel writer, networking, and managed quite a few social media pages. When all of my children became school age I decided to get a position as a para educator. Unfortunately we had to move back to the states and I tried to apply to be a para educator here in Washington, but unfortunately since I don’t have a teaching degree so I couldn’t be one. I do have a bachelors degree in sociology and a minor in psychology. Last October I accepted a position working for a advertising company and I was able to learn a lot of the ropes. I met quite a few business owners in the area and I established some amazing relationships with those people. In October of this year one of my clients from the advertising company had asked me if I could do all of her marketing for social media. Finally I decided to go ahead and start my own business in the things I enjoy doing best. So I created my business, BE SEEN Consulting, which I rebranded to South Sound Productions.
