2017 Dance Team Union National Championship,

About the event

The DTU National Championship will be held from February 3-5, 2017 in Orlando, FL. The entire event will take place in a resort environment at the Doubletree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Studios. We're welcoming Middle School, JV, Varsity and All Star programs. We invite the most qualified judges to nationals, so you are guaranteed to receive the best judging possible. Our judges are thoroughly trained to give our teams professional and useful feedback through our new video critique software. DTU is also proud to offer cash prizes, master classes, and a unique experience that puts the dance teams' needs first. Dance teams across the country receive little to no funding from their schools, so we've created a championship that is affordable, and we are proud to have started a company that puts money back into the pockets of the teams.

DANCE TEAM UNION is in our first year of existence and we are already the company with the second-largest true high school national competition in the country, with outreach to over 2,100 All Star teams and over 3,500 high school and college dance teams from all 50 states, ages 5 to 22, male and female, of all backgrounds, united by a spirit of hard work, independent thought, innovation and community. DTU is the biggest competitor to the top national championship in the country.

DTU was formed out of a demand from the customers in the industry. There is a constant interest in affordable resources and products for these young athletes and artists, and we are excited about the prospect of working with your company to help these teams acquire the resources they desperately need and deserve. Your sponsorship will assist in providing teams equipment, apparel, quality camps and competitions at reasonable costs from a company that cares about the development of the dancers and their growth potential. 

Bridie Pruett

My name is Bridie Pruett, and I'm one of the founders of Dance Team Union. I have been working professionally as a choreographer and former coach and dance instructor for over 10 years. Our company was formed out of a swift demand for a new place for dance teams to compete at a much more affordable level.

We've done this by lowering the costs of registration into our regional and national competitions for the dance teams, as well as making sure our packages are full and inclusive. We want to make sure the teams and families get an experience that is exciting, one where they get their money's worth.

We have received an overwhelming amount of support from teams around the nation. I am proud to be part of this growing company that will help shape young athletes and artists across the country, and we would be proud to have the support of a company like yours!
