2017 Breakaway Bash,

About the event

This tournament is truly and all inclusive AAA hockey tourney.  We host mosty local,  however some state-wide and out of state teams.  All inclusive is a luxury to the parents, grandparents, and friends of the young players, this means with your entry fee all admissions including championship games are included, as well as the player tournament tees, that means less nagging and more time to enjoy the game!  We host 8 different age divisions, and host over 500 participants as well as their 2000 family, friends, and coaches who attend the games.  We place your sponsorships in many key locations including programs, tourney websites, and the scoreboard brackets located in each rink - those are constantly being looked at and updated!

Why should you sponsor?

We use the sponsorship money to assist with the cost of ice, as we are a AAA hockey club based in the Southwest Metro you can imagine the cost of ice is at a premium in this location.  We do not have ownership in any rink, therefore we independently purchase the ice needed to host our tourney.  Assisting with the ice fees, helps us to keep our fees reasonable - I am happy to say we were able to keep our fees steady in the past 2 years.

Since being founded in 1988 by Dave Snuggerud, Breakaway Hockey's top priority has been training our youth hockey players to develop and and consistently improve their core skills. This vision continues with Jessie Willis and Andy Brink at Breakaway Hockey today.  Our goal is simple – to develop hockey players. We will teach each and every player the skills required to become great.

Our talented coaching staff at Breakaway Hockey consistently helps our players become better “all around” hockey players.  We know what it takes to have the love of the game and we will work with our young athletes to help them become great hockey players.  We are a very excited about our experienced coaching staff which includes Andy Brink, Jessie Willis, and Kyle Peto as well as their staff of “Hockey Players”.  We have combined over 100 years of coaching experience – which has allowed us to see first hand the fundamental skills that all great hockey players have.  Our staff is always excited to be on the ice with our players to share our knowledge and experience with them.
