14th Annual OSPAC Jazz and Brew Fest,

    The 14th Annual OSPAC Jazz and Brew Fest will be held on Saturday, September 16 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm at the Oskar Schindler Center for the Performing Arts in West Orange.  Headliners Include Oscar Perez, Bill Charlap, Alyson Williams, Jeff Bradshaw, and Vince Ector. Admission is $10.

    Hosted by Gary Walker, WBGO, the Festival will feature performances from iconic and emerging jazz artists, a beer and wine garden and 9 hours of live music, accompanied by an array of vendors selling international cuisine and merchandise on a scenic 5.5 acres at the Oskar Schindler Center for the Performing Arts.

    Among the lineup are premier Pianist Bill Charlap, Oscar Perez's Afro-Cuban, Fusion,  Grammy-winner Nat Adderley, trombonist Jeff Bradshaw, drummer Vince Ector and Alyson Williams, singer of the 80s blockbuster hit, “Just Call My Name.” 

    “I’m excited and grateful to be able to help build on this annual celebration with a lineup that includes local and international icons,” said NJAI@OSPAC Executive Director Susan Anderson. 

    The festival takes place at a spectacular setting, the Oskar Schindler Center for the Performing Arts (OSPAC) amphitheater, which is nestled on a mountain ridge next to Crystal Lake in West Orange, New Jersey.

    The Oskar Schindler Center for the Performing Arts through thr New Jersey Arts Incubator provides art-based education to more than 300 special needs children a year. It also serves as an incubator for local and emerging artists.

    New Jersey Arts Incubator is a 10-year-old 501c3 that strives to create an environment where Essex County artists of all socio-economic and cultural origins may explore, create and communicate their craft in a supportive and nurturing environment; to present works of artistic expression by local, regional and visiting artists in an effort to foster the communications of ideas and perspectives; and to provide educational experiences to students of all ages with a special emphasis on programming for children of diverse cultures in low socio-economic backgrounds.

    The Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center is owned and operated by the township of West Orange, a municipality of 50,000 residents.
