About the event
The EarWaxx Sessions is a collective that was Established on July 29th, 2014. It was cultivated to be an artist's playground, a safe haven for those that appreciate live performances, self-expression, creative entrepreneurship, and creativity as a whole. We aim to give those that are creative and savvy a chance to build and network with other local brands and tastemakers in the area. Two years and counting, we have over 10,000 plus in attendance, 700 performers as well as a huge following on both Instagram and Twitter. The main goal was to allow artists/brands to connect with customers, fans, or other businesses in an intimate setting.

The EarWaxx Sessions brings the young creative trendsetters in the metropolitan area into Long Islands backyard. New York is a major market for any business, brand, or person.
When it comes to our performers and vendors we Target Male/Females between the ages 18-35 with mostly focusing on The East Cost (New York, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts etc..) also focusing some effort to Texas (South By SouthWest).
When coming to the event people get to socialize and discuss the current trends in entertainment along with supporting local creative and trend setters. Many artists/performers are the person that their friends look to for advice on trends or fads. Bringing the artist on stage displaying their talents provides for a cross promotional experience between brands, performers, and artist a like.
Alex YakeI am an event promoter out of Long Island New York. I have a backround in Music Business and Audio Engineering. With most of my experiences being on a professional level for business work, tech work, engineering work, event promotion I have been able to bring together a network of artist, brands, creatives etc.. Having seen diffrent experiences from diffrent sides of the business I have been able to stablize an exciting event on Long Island!
