This year’s special presentation will celebrate a grand affair to be held at Toronto’s renowned Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, 25 British Columbia Rd, on Sunday, December 11, 2022. A considerable 500+ gala attendees will come together to enjoy a leading event that facilitates the support and direct aid of breast cancer survivors. after BREAST CANCER’s mission is to empower women nationwide who are affected by breast cancer through aftercare education, resources, financial aid, and community engagement. Since its inception, after BREAST CANCER has empowered survivors to keep surviving and thriving, financing support over 3500 women to date. The direct impact of this single gala event is incomparable.

A charity founded by Alicia Vianga in Toronto, Ontario. Concerned with the care of breast cancer survivors during and after the diagnosis. The charity works to provide aftercare education, resources, financial aid, and community engagement to those diagnosed. The charity was founded with the mission to ensure that women have access to basic needs and to provide mastectomy bras, mastectomy camisoles and breast prostheses to women who are financially unable to afford them.

The Pink Diamond Gala is an annual event important to the charity as it provides critical funding for the charity's resources. The gala sees an audience of over 500 attendees each year with notable entertainment and attendees. Helping Women after BREAST CANCER

after BREAST CANCER is a registered charity that was founded in 2013 by Alicia Vianga, a certified bra & breast prosthesis fitter and owner of Premier Jour Fine Lingerie, a Toronto-based intimate apparel boutique. When Alicia was asked to review the official Bra and Breast Prosthesis Guide for a major Toronto hospital, she identified a serious gap in the health care system.

There was no program that provided breast prostheses or bras for cancer survivors in Toronto who had no insurance, or were financially challenged. Alicia knew it was time to start making a difference, and from that, after BREAST CANCER was born. It’s been well documented that women undergoing breast cancer treatment face many “out of pocket” expenses that quickly add up. after BREAST CANCER was set up to ensure that women have access to basic needs as well as mastectomy bras and breast prostheses if they can’t afford them.

“As a certified mastectomy fitter, I see women come into my boutique who, even after eight years after having a mastectomy, still have socks in their bra because they can’t afford to buy a breast prosthesis, don’t know where to get it or they’re not wearing the proper support. It breaks my heart knowing that they work hard to survive and now they cannot afford the basic needs, that’s the reason why I decided to do something about it.”
