About the event
The 'Made For More' Banquet is Adult & Teen Challenge's signature spring fundraising event that draws over 1500 of Northeast Texas' most devoted supporters who are passionate about helping men, women and adolescents find freedom from addiction by creating second chances to become productive members of society. This banquet is our organization's way of showcasing the power and transformation that has been brought to our lives with the help and contributions of local businesses and community leaders who give back to our communities by spreading the message of hope, freedom and purpose.
Why should you sponsor?
We aim to build lasting relationships with businesses and community pioneers to expand our mission of bringing hope to people suffering from addiction in our surrounding communities. We would love to partner with you by volunteering to help serve in any areas of need. You will greatly contribute to our student's lives by helping develop work skills, disclipine, and purpose as we serve you and the purposeful work you do in your community.
Kolani ClarkI am a student at the Clarksville Women's Campus of Adult & Teen Challenge, who struggled with addiction in the dark. I had a good upbringing, graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and IT, and relatively had my life set from the outside looking in. Though I achieved big life goals, I never found fulfillment in any job or my life, though I had what I wanted.
Past hurts undealt with and rolling complacency for lack of purpose led me to drug addiction and I had no idea how to cope or escape. At my rock bottom, I asked for help and was connected with Adult & Teen Challenge, where I found the purpose I was truly created for. 6 months in, I am now serving in the Marketing Department and building professional relationships with a purpose and promise of true return on investment. I am so grateful for this second chance and the contributions from local businesses who gave it to me.
