Bellevue Strawberry Festival,

Crossroads Water Spray Playground, Bellevue, Washington, United States Crossroads Water Spray Playground, Bellevue, Washington, United States

  • About the event

The Bellevue Strawberry Festival is a two-day annual community event held each June at Crossroads International Park in Bellevue, WA. The Festival attracts an audience of 50,000+ people diverse in age and cultural backgrounds. The event features live entertainment, food and vendor booths, a Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, and Classic Auto Show on Sunday. At the heart of the Festival is the Family Fun Area that features carnival games, pony rides, rock climbing, inflatables and more! The event is hosted by the nonprofit organization Eastside Heritage Center (EHC) that maintains and preserves the largest collection of East King County Washington related history and focuses on sharing this history with the community. At the Festival, EHC hosts a Mini-Museum with displays, artifact demonstrations and interactive hands-on history activities. As a museum institution without a physical facility, this Festival is EHC’s largest community outreach event, and being a small nonprofit, our sponsors make a tremendous difference in our ability to put on a free entry public event the entire community looks forward to each year.

    Why should you sponsor?

Sponsorship of Eastside Heritage Center's Bellevue Strawberry Festival directly supports the Greater Seattle community, and directly supports Eastside Heritage Center (EHC) in their mission to share the history of East King County WA with the surrounding community, creating appreciation for this heritage, and a strong community identity and sense of belonging. East King County has a rich history in culture, agriculture, and development. EHC hosts the Festival as a revival of the original Lake Washington Strawberry Festival that was held from 1925-1941 as a celebration of Bellevue's abundant strawberry crops that were primarily grown by Japanese American's. This annual Festival is a way to demonstrate to the public, especially as more continue to move to the area, the Eastside's agricultural roots and how it has grown to be the metropolitan area it is today.

    Lexi Roberts

I have been the Marketing & Community Manager for Eastside Heritage Center the last three years, and have had the pleasure of being the Bellevue Strawberry Festival Coordinator in my time here.

The Strawberry Festival is greatly embraced by the Bellevue, WA community. It's a time for families to come together to enjoy live entertainment, vendor booths, festival food, fresh strawberry shortcake, a Family Fun Area, Classic Auto Show and Touch-a-Truck event. It's also a time to discover the Eastside of Seattle's history and how our community has developed overtime. It's a time to connect, share and apprecaite the region we live in.

It is the highlight of my year to coordinate. I love watching over 50,000+ people gather at our event together as a community.
