    Planning and Organizing Afghanistan Badminton Championship 12th Round

    Event Overview

    In cooperation with The General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports (GDPES) Afghanistan and the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee, this competition is scheduled to be held on December 3rd, 2022, at the 2500-seat gymnasium, Ghazi Stadium, run by the Afghanistan National Olympic Committee in Kabul.

    Top Afghan international badminton players who have excelled at the international level will compete in this badminton championship tournament, and the Badminton World Federation has acknowledged and certified these players (BWF).

     Participants: 150 players

    Three categories of players will compete in this event:

    1. National team

    2. Emerging players U19

    3. U16 players.

     Event classification (Type): League play.

     Proposed Date: from 3 rd to 12th December 2022 Schedule: December 3 rd 10:00 Opening Ceremony December 12th 14:00 Final and Closing

    Ceremony Venue: Gymnasium of 2500 people, Ghazi Stadium, Kabul, Afghanistan.

    Tournament: According to the Laws of Badminton and General Competition Regulations of the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

    The Afghanistan Badminton Federation (ABF) would like to invite both local and international businesses to sponsor this event. The sponsorship is divided into two categories:

    The Badminton Afghanistan Federation aims to unite Afghan youth sports culture around a shared vision: that one day, all youth will have the opportunity, motivation, and access to play sports— regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, or ability. Why youth sports? Research shows that participating in youth sports can lead to immediate and long-term benefits for youth, their families, and communities. We are hopeful by training the children and youths we will be able to create a sense of discipline and dedication in them.

    The other benefits are not limited and go beyond as described below:

    1. Naming Rights This event will be known as “[your title] Badminton Championship 2022”

    2. Logo on player Kit Logo on player’s T-shirt

    3. In Court branding 80% of badminton court coverage and 80% of the gymnasium

    4. Exposure in the ABF Social and Digital Media

    5. Television coverage All the matches are for-profit and key assets to the TV Channel, Partially by RTA sports channel.
