About the event

The ATIXA Annual Conference is the leading conference in the field of Title IX. With the new proposed regulations for Title IX and the desire for best-practice leadership in the field, ATIXA recognizes that our members and larger community are eager for opportunities to learn and connect with other Title IX professionals who are interested in serving their school districts, institutions, and organizations more effectively.

This year’s Conference will feature in-person presentations and interactive sessions including:

• The Opening Keynote presentation by Deborah Tuerkheimer and Donna Freitas whose books and research center on credibility within the Title IX process and that effect on student survivors,
• 6 featured speaker presentations on a wide variety of Title IX topics relevant to both higher education and K-12 professionals. See the schedule section below for topics and tracks,
• An opportunity for attendees to present through our Call for Proposals with 16 concurrent sessions,
• A roundtable session, covering 10 different Title IX related topics led by experts in the field,
• Several networking opportunities that will give participants the opportunity to connect with your colleagues in the field,
• An opportunity to visit the onePULSE Foundation Memorial to support LGBTQIA++ efforts in Florida,
• Exhibitors available throughout the conference to connect in person with Title IX related products and resources,
• A Plenary session with TNG Partners and Consultants,
• A Closing Keynote presentation by Nancy Cantalupo, Professor of Law at Wayne State University and a nationally-recognized expert and scholar on why schools should use civil rights law and principles as their guideposts in comprehensively preventing sexual harassment and gender-based violence in education.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors of the 2022 ATIXA conference will have the chance to interact with an anticipated 450 attendees on-site, and reach approximatley 20,000 people via ATIXA's marketing outreach efforts leading up to the conference.

ATIXA conference attendees are Title IX professionals within various roles at their institutions, in higher education, K-12, lawfirms, and other organizations. This conference gives organizations and businesses a chance to meet in-person with these professionals that are often key decision-makers with buying power for the services and products our sponsors represent.

My name is Jessica, and I am the Program Coordinator of ATIXA. I have been with ATIXA since 2020 and play a cruical role in planning the ATIXA conference. This will be the second conference and second on-site event that I helped to organize. For both events, I was the lead on reaching out and managing partnerships with our sponsors. I am very detail oriented and easily accessible for any sponsor questions. I am very responsive and work hard to ensure that each sponsor is set up and has their needs met on-site. I look forward to working with new partners!
