Zumbathon for World Cancer Day 2020,

About the event

*Purpose : -To raise funds to help MAKNA (NGO) who        

                       directly help cancer patients selected by     

                       public hospitals.

                       -To raise funds while enjoying Zumba.

                       -To help cancer survivors to be involve in fun                

                        activities.

*Target Fund Collection (after cost of holding the event) :  More than RM50k.

*Official tag line : #WorldCancerDay #IAmAndIWill  (Example: I Am a Poster and I will Spread the Word / I am Powerful and I will Reduce my cancer risks) .

*Official Color : Dark Blue and Orange

My name is Emilia and I am a Volunteer with MAKNA (Majlis Kanser Nasional, http://makna.org.my/ ). MAKNA is an NGO that provides aids to cancer patients such treatments, medicines and financial aid to help patients fight cancer.

During my time as a volunteer with this NGO, I have had the experience to meet the beneficiary of the fund. I have visited their homes and ensure that they have received our help as approveda and in accordance by their doctors.

This experience has allowed me to grow into a better human being and spend my time positively.
