YouthPolitics Annual Conference 2019,

About the event

Aiming to replicate the success of their Annual Conference in March 2018, the award-winning organisation YouthPolitics UK is hoping to put on one of the largest youth politically related event of 2019. Hosted at the renowned Lowry Theatre in Manchester (UK), the event is sure to attract media attention, with journalists from The BBC, ITV and The Guardian all saying that they will attend. 

YouthPolitics is a non-profit, non-partisan youth led organisation, dedicated to engaging young adults with the democratic process, regardless of where they stand on the political spectrum. Reaching up to 20,000 young adults since their founding, they were awarded a National Democracy Award for their work. The event itself will see 600 young adults attend Q&A sessions with high profile political speakers, in addition to attending valuable training sessions in debating, public speaking, campaigning and policy making.

I am the Founder and Editor of YouthPolitics UK, the award-winning organisation which is dedicated to encouraging young adults to engage with the democratic system and get their voices heard. I created the organisation in 2016, out of frustration at the lack of attention politicians and decision makers gave young adults. I have been completely taken aback at the amount of progress that the organisation has made since its founding, especially considering that, uniquely, we are entirely youth led. I have extensive experience in communication, leadership, marketing and management, as well as having experience working with media. Unlike many organisations, I work directly with corporate sponsors to ensure that mutual goals are met and strive to provide a personable relationship with those who are helping to make such an event a reality.
