About the event
We are conducting a Youth Conference August 3-5, 2018. This event allows us to bring together young adults, adolescents, and children to teach them how to make an impact on their community. We bring in speakers and entertainers from all over to inspire and help the youth become all they are meant to be. It also allows us to invest in the youth by providing free school supplies, uniforms, and hygiene packets for 100 students.

Kelly BarzeShowers of Blessing Deliverance Temple is a rapidly growing church in Hammond, Louisiana. We have a vision and purpose, which is: Reaching out to change a nation, bringing families to Christ, by the power of God, in brotherly love. In addition to offering services on Sundays and Wednesdays, we are proud of our community outreach efforts like sisterhood and brotherhood.
Showers of Blessing is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization who is devoted to making a difference. Over the years, we have developed quite a reputation for not only being a religious haven, but also a strong community partner in times of need.
The youth of Showers of Blessing Deliverance Temple are youth with a mission and on fire for the Lord. The Word of God is taught in a manner that “even a babe can understand it.”
Our mission is to nurture the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person aged 13 – 17 in the word of God by providing a place of fellowship and development where we can connect with God, with each other, and the community. We aim to provide a Christ-centered environment where youth may develop intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
