YAMMtasic is a back to school supply fundraiser event for underserved youth. Youth and adults square off in two tournaments on 3 basketball courts to win the 1st every YAMMtasic Trophy on August 3, 2019. All proceeds to the benefit of underserved youth attending Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools (WSFCS) through the purchase of supplies and materials to be given away to students on August 17, 2019. The YAMMtasic Back To School Giveaway event is an opportunity event for underserved local youth to get school supplies, materials and clothing they need to be prepared to receive the proper education they need.
Our mission is to build moral standards guidance and leadership, visioning at-risk youth and families building resiliency through teamwork, critical thinking, and self-confidence to achieve self-sufficiency.

Ms. Rolawnza Galloway believed there was another means to address youth delinquency besides detention admissions and incarceration for young adults. At the age of 9, Ms. Galloway realized she wanted to work with children and began practicing at home being a teacher to become a teacher. By age 12 she began working with children in her family. At age 14, she peer-mentored and volunteered in the nursery at her local high school, Independence High School in Winston-Salem, NC. She attained her GED to continue her schooling receiving an AAS in Accounting and later an AAS in Human Resource Management double majoring in Criminal Justice.
In 2008, Ms. Galloway became the Head Start Parents Committee Vice President. She volunteered five hours a week at the center working with children and their parents for 2 years. During this time, Ms. Galloway helped plan and organization the Head Start Annual End of Year Celebration as well has head parent meetings. Ms. Galloway later studied Criminal Justice with a concentration in Corrections at North Carolina Central University graduating Cum Laude in 2016. While studying, she volunteered at the International Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs, which inspired her to develop and establish YAMM as a nonprofit corporation.
