    (New York City) - Later this spring the World Trade Center Gallery will host a solo exhibition featuring the latest works of New York’s hottest artist Marko Stout. The show is scheduled to kick off with a hot opening night VIP party on Friday night 06/08/18. Marko Stout is a popular contemporary artist known for his gritty industrial pop style with a focus on New York City and modern urban life.

    Marko Stout is renowned for his cutting-edge, aspirational industrial pop style that’s accessible and cool- a signature aesthetic that combines the downtown New York City DNA with a modern, rock-chic edge!  Marko Stout’s most recent sold out solo exhibition at New York's famed Artifact Gallery in SoHo brought a huge number of young fans, art dealers and international collectors eager to meet the artist and buy the latest and somewhat controversial works from this pop art master, who many in the artworld are comparing to fellow New York pop artists; Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol.

    2018 is already an amazing year for New York's hottest artist! In early March, Marko Stout kicked-off New York's Armory Show week with a solo exhibition and VIP party in SoHo's popular Artifact Gallery attended by thousands of enthusiastic fans and collectors eager to meet the artist, his models and view Marko's latest works! Earlier this year Stout unofficially launched "Urban Tribe", the artist's line of cool, causal urban fashion. The collection will officially launch this September with a VIP runway show during New York's Fashion Week.  

    World Trade Center Gallery was established in 1981 at 68 Greenwich Street. Collectors Doug Smith and Jane Chun Smith now are the second generation to run the gallery with a focus on the art scene in the Financial District of New York City. The gallery is dedicated to showcasing emerging and established artists from NYC, with an emphasis on the local street art scene. Past exhibitions included shows by Dave Gahan (lead singer of Depeche Mode), Dave Matthew and hip-hop mogul Russel Simmons.

    2017 brought the artist from local cult status to New York icon with two the city's most successful sold out solo shows that year- at the Sepia Gallery and Emmanuel Fremin Gallery in Chelsea, NYC. Stout garnered the attention of the mainstream art word early that year with solo exhibitions at Miami Art Basel and Weinworth Gallery in South Beach Miami. 

    2016 was the year Marko Stout established himself as a true art world celebrity with a fanatical cult following. The artist exhibited 4 colossal vibrant female sculpture at the Grand Entrance of the famed ArtExpo Show in New York City- where they caught the eye of a Berlin nightclub owner and art collector who snapped up the sculptures with the largest purchase in the history of the show. Represented by Art Nation Stout also sold a full collection of his aluminum based paintings during the course of the show. Also, in 2016 the artist hugely successful solo exhibitions at New York's Rivington Gallery and Jason Samuels Gallery in Miami. 

     The images of Stout’s works have gone viral on social media in the past year- especially after making news with the record breaking sale of his colossal figurative sculptures at the ArtExpo Show in New York City to a Berlin art collector and nightclub owner last spring- the largest sale at the show and one of the biggest in the history of the ArtExpo. The artist’s works were also featured last April at New York’s Caelum Gallery to large crowds and much critical acclaim.

    Aside from his sold out solo exhibitions and sculpture sales, Stout also produced the popular New York independent art film festival: LIPS Film Festival, a celebration of the best in experimental art films and short. This year’s festival will be hosted by Stout next April at various theaters thought-out New York City with paid live streaming online.  Marko Stout’s LIPS festival will be a celebration of the very best in local and international shorts and experimental cinema, along with independent feature length avant-garde productions.

    As Marko Stout’s popularity in the mainstream art community and film world continue to grow collectors will take note of the artist’s rising value, making collection of his works a very valuable commodity.
