Women ON Air" was created as a networking platform for all women working in television & radio broadcasting. Our goal is to encourage and enhance cohesiveness between this small circle of women operating within a male-dominated industry. As our motto states, "behind the board, behind the break, behind the business". This platform supports women, not only on the mic, but in newswriting, camera & radio board-op, promotions & sales, production & studio engineering..

Being determined and confident, Diamond was able to break into the radio industry as a college freshman where she created her own position at 97.7 "The Beat of the Capital" in Jackson, Miss. Her witty personality was noticed, which led to an on-air spot reporting entertainment news for "The #1 Nite Show" from 6-10 p.m. Here, her mantra of "the INFOmiss" was born. Since then, she has gained experience through Core Communicators Broadcasting, Radio One, Cox Media and voice tracking for a Top 40 internet radio station. Today, the Atlanta native is a budding on-air talent and radio producer with the goal to be a remarkable voice for the Urban/AC market.
"I decided to develop this platform, because I was inspired. There was a place for Women On Air. Being in the industry and learning the ins and outs, I felt that there was a lack of togetherness within the small circle of women in this industry. To be completely honest, I know what it's like to have no encouragement and support from my fellow women on air, sometimes. As I searched for my own networking outlet and job opportunities in such a competitive field, I thought to share this space with other women. Never did I think it would gain so much support from hundreds of women around the world! For that, I want to say THANK YOU. And remember ladies, there is room for every woman to win."
