LinkedIn HQ, Sunnyvale, California, United States LinkedIn HQ, Sunnyvale, California, United States

  • About the event

Adecco Group, the largest professional staffing company in the world, released the results of a 2016 survey that showed 74 percent of young people ages 18-24 felt their colleges failed to fully prepare them for the professional world. #WHATSNEXT was created in effort to bridge this outside of the classroom gap.

"Paper Doesn't Matter. What you do with it does."

Join #WHATSNEXT for the Sunnyvale pop-up workshop tour stop at LinkedIn headquarters on September 7, 2018 from 9am-2pm! It's hip. Edgy. Live interviews and on the spot resume critique. Live music. Sponsor Giveaways. Experiential workshop activation. Relevant information and resources. Meeting undergrads where they are to prepare them for the life after college "real world workforce".

Through interactive sessions, engaging panels, and relevant group discussions, attendees will hear from recent college graduates and professional mentors aiming to address post-grad planning and development. Applicable content topics include: strategy to gaining and building tangible career experience, resume enhancement and the art of cover letters, the power of LinkedIn as a job search resource, professional connections and references, networking, etc.

We've reached over 3,000 students in our beginning stages from well-known colleges/universities like University of Kansas, TCU, SMU, etc. We can't wait to meet more students on the next tour stop in Sunnyvale, California!
