About the event
The Computer Science and Engineering Association hosts an annual national level technical symposium Vortex. It was incepted grounded in the firm principles to provide a platform for technocrats to showcase their prowess in fields of Computer Science and Information Technology.
It strives as a breeding ground for new ideas and opportunities to learn; a platform to demonstrate technical competence.
Since its inception in 1992 Vortex has created a thriving ecosystem of innovation and learning through the 3-day technical symposium it holds in the form of workshops, events, guest lectures, and various other events.

We receive an annual footfall of over 2500 students and participating from more than 250 colleges. Over the years we have hosted a plethora of speakers ranging from Manikandan Thangarathnam, Director of Kindle at Amazon India to Mrs. Krishma Singla, Managing Director at Watson India among others. Our vision remains focused and simple, that is to constantly foster innovation and expand the impact we create in the community around us.
