About the event
Alpha Phi at the University of Washington is excited to announce the return of our in-person Red Dress Gala benefiting women's heart health through the Alpha Phi Foundation and the UW Medicine's Cardiology Department. Our chapter is proud to be the top fundraising Alpha Phi Chapter internationally, donating over one million dollars in our history to advance the lives of women but we need your support. Why should you sponsor?
Our event helps not only women around the country, but directly shows an impact on the women close to our hearts. We have had several people within our own chapter, including myself, who have been directly impacted from the research our money has helped to fund. You also have the unique opportunity to hear from a UW Cardiologist about what research their department has been able to do with the funds we have donated from past years. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in America and your sponsorship will help us continue to research and learn more about ways to prevent heart disease. Join us in this fight and help us ensure that fewer people lose loved ones to heart disease.
Ally O'NeilHi, my name is Ally O'Neil and I am a Sophomore at the University of Washington. I was born with a ventricular septal defect and spoke at our last Red Dress Gala to explain the importance of research for Women's Heart Health and I plan to be a speaker this upcoming year as well. This research has allowed me to live the life I have been able to and our chapter wants to give back to ensure the continuation of this research in the future.
