About the event
The Reading Air Show A Gathering of the Warbirds is the largest WWII event in the states.
The Magnolia Sadies have created several vintage chorus line pieces from the 1930's and 1940's that we would like to share with the veterans that visit the event as well as the reenactors who interpret all aspects of the war from homefront to front lines.
This would be our first performance and the event requires each dancer to travel approximately an hour and to pay admission, and volunteer our extensive combined years of dance training and performance experience. We hope to share a 25 minute show on Friday and Saturday which will take place at or near the encampments or the homefront and will be accessible to any of the thousands of guests and the reenactors.
We are extremely grateful for any support in this inaugural journey to share historic dance performance with the visitors to Pennsylvania.

Shawna SerpeMy name is Shawna Serpe I have over 25 years of classical dance and musical theatre training and teaching and performing experience. I added Vintage Social Dance to my life several years ago and bring historical group and chorus dances into the 21st century. I love to teach dance to people of all ages and abilities.
