About the event
Ice cross downhill is the fastest sport on ice skates. The best and toughest ice skaters in the world race down an ice track with turns, roller, jumps, and other obstacles. They race 4 at a time in single elimination format to crown the winner while gaining precious points to become the next World Champion.
Formerly known as Red Bull Crashed Ice has been around since 2001 and has brought the Ice Cross Downhill World Championship to the US in past years, with the last race on Boston in 2018. In the interest of bringing in new participants and spreading the sport to new areas, the All-Terrain Skate Cross Federation (ATSX) was formed. The ATSX 250 tracks are built on ski hills and provide opportunities for new participants to test their skills AND experienced riders to build on theirs. Athletes from nations all over the world train year-round, coming from a variety of sports backgrounds.

The US Ice Cross Association's mission is to promote the awareness and growth of Ice Cross Downhill among all ages and backgrounds. We also function to ensure proper promotion and execution of training and qualifying Ice Cross Downhill events in the United States. Our team consists of Team USA Athletes and sport fanatics.
