About the event
In its 65th year, the Student Union Board of Governors represents the University of Connecticut’s programming initiatives and planning. SUBOG strives to enhance the educational, social, cultural, and recreational interests of the students at the university.
SUBOG is broken down into eight different programming committees encompassing
over 300 members. Committees meet weekly to gauge student’s interests and plan programs reflective of the student body.
One of SUBOG’s programming committees, Concert Committee, plans musical events for both local and major artists. SUBOG has hosted artists like Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, and J Cole over the years.
This November, the annual Fall Concert will be a memorable experience for thousands of college students. The show at the Jorgensen Theatre will feature popular acts in modern music culture.
Last year's event saw attendance of 2,000+ students with a social media reach of 230,000+ individuals. Numbers are expected to grow for this upcoming show.
Why should you sponsor?
Demographics and Exposure
The University of Connecticut is the flagship school in the State of CT. Schools across the state look towards the university as a model for their own events and partnerships. Beyond this, your brand unlocks the opportunity to advertise to thousands of students beginning to make their own decisions and practices.
Partnership - Not a Sponsorship
These opportunities are more than a sponsorship, they are a chance to partner with the university’s largest student organization. There are thousands of brands across the region that we believe our students can benefit from. For that reason, ensuring your business goals are met is just as important to us as our own.
Working with SUBOG, you can rest easy knowing that we will handle
all the back end work and communicate updates clearly and regularly. Our team has people dedicated to focusing on your brand and package.
Long - Term Effect
Our events and concerts have a long history and a long future at the University of Connecticut. We are constantly growing; a partnership with us guarantees exposure for days, weeks, months, and even years to come. Students will graduate with memories that will last a lifetime.
