UCLA Nonviolence Teach-in,

W.G. Young Hall, Los Angeles, California, United States W.G. Young Hall, Los Angeles, California, United States

  • About the event

Reverend Lawson, the individual most notably known as the Civil Rights Movement leader who desgregated the Woolworth's lunch counter and working directly with Martin Luther King Jr. to launch the Memphis Sanitation Strike and secure the victory for workers' rights, is ushering in the new wave of civil rights activists through a teach-in of how to achieve social reform through nonviolence. There will be keynote speakers and special activities throughout the event.

    Why should you sponsor?

-UCLA students share a large network amongst each other, and to have the support of even one student within it will encourage others amongst the community to rally behind in support of your company.

-With at least 250 individuals in attendance, your company will gain immediate exposure, and these individuals will definitely remember the generous donors who provided the refreshments for them throughout the event.

Thank you so much for the time and consideration in sponsoring our event.
