About the event

On July 27th 2017, MUPPITS will be hosting a Trivia Night in order to raise funds for the new Monash Children’s Hospital. 

Due to the large demand for hospital beds, the brand new Monash Children’s Hospital opened in April 2017. This new hospital will allow many children in Melbourne’s South East to access appropriate medical care in a world class facility. In order to decrease the burden placed on parents and children who are patients in this new facility, MUPPITS is working with the Monash Health Foundation to provide much needed funds for toys, parent’s retreats and medical supplies. For this we are relying on the kindness and generosity of companies like yours.

The trivia night is attended by 150+ doctors, especially paediatricians, as well as medical students and allied health professionals from a variety of universities and hospitals. Nadine Sallay

My name is Nadine Sallay and I am a medical student at Monash University. I am currently undertaking an honours year at the Monash Children's Hospital - working with newly diagnosed children with Type 1 Diabetes. 

I am passionate about children's health and fully support the work the Monash Children's is doing. Therefore I am very motivated and passionate about my work as a student member in the Monash University Paediatrics Promotions, Interest & Training Society (MUPPITS). 

I was nominated for the position as Fundraising/Charity Officer for the 2017 year - and thoroughly enjoy this.
