“JCA is a not-for-profit systems change organization based in Little Rock with a mission to build

communities-through education, celebration and advocacy- where every person is valued, every voice is heard, and everyone has a fair chance to succeed. Our programming and consulting services provide the groundwork for transformative shifts in thought and behavior; enhancing the work of government agencies, academia, media, businesses, community advocates, philanthropists and congregations. We train youth and adults to include and understand one another in order to create positive, transformative and sustainable change on individual, institutional and ultimately systemic levels.

Concept: JCA's purpose is to transform Arkansas into the nation most inclusive, equitable and upwardly mobile place for all who live, work and visit the Natural State. Target audience: 30-65, 60% females and 40% males. Median household: $56,849 +/- $2,015: Per capita income $30,899 +/- #1,071

with an estimated attendance of 9,000+. We aim to support the JCA purpose by providing inclusive quality entertainment from different genres of musical talent. 10% of gate proceeds and 5% of gross receipt for food vendors will go to said nonprofit organization. The day of event will proceed rain or shine.

My name is Nathan Roy, I am the CEO of Cross Mix Entertainment LLC. (CME) I, along with Walter Miles, owner of WLR Entertainment LLC are working with the non-profit organization Just Communities of Arkansas (JCA), to bring a musical event to Little Rock, North Little Rock and surrounding areas in which we will donate 10% of the gate proceeds, along with proceeds from each food vendor which will include up to 5% of their gross receipts.

We thoroughly believe in supporting nonprofit organizations that serve our communities, so during each of our events, our team works hard to bring quality entertainment to Arkansas in order to raise enough money to support each fabulous organization! CME has raised over $17,000 for various non-profit organizations. During our last event CME had a total of 6,500+ attendees and we provided an exciting and a safe environment for all!

The Pioneers of Funk R&B concert will be just as exciting and more special than ever with you as part of our team! We are anticipating over 9,000 consumers to attend and we're so excited to have your company to be a value-added sponsor for this event!

Special events like this can be expensive and to make sure the operations run smoothly, the attendees will receive the best experience possible and we raise the most money possible for our non-profit organization. We are asking for your help with various in-kind support such as venue rental, catering, permits, licensing and more. Nathan Roy, Jr., CEO, Cross Mix Entertainment LLC

Nathan Roy

Since the early nineties, Nathan Roy has been promoting entertainment for the people of Central Arkansas. His primary goal has always been
to work with national and local artists to guide and help develop a better stage performance. In 1990 he began his internship for club promoter
Bennie Turner of Juanita’s. Nathan has helped promote acts at Juanita’s such as: Quiet Riot, Itals, The Five Blind Boys of Alabama, Rev.
Gerald Thompson and many more. During Nathan’s internship, Juanita’s was known to be the number one regional venue for national and
regional recording artists in the State of Arkansas. In 1992 Nathan Roy left Juanita’s to begin working as an independent promoter. He
created Cross Mix Production in 1993 and started promoting talent shows around the greater Little Rock area. To avoid industry confusion,
Cross Mix productions became Cross Mix Entertainment in 1996. Nathan has since promoted many events which included acts such as
national recording artists H-Town, Betty Wright and J. Blackfoot to name a few. Nathan continues to work on new and innovative ways to
bring artists and fans together and give back to the community by donating a percentage of the event proceeds to local non-profits.
