About the event

The High Note is a singer's competition designed to determine which college/university has the best vocalists. Teams of college students from the four largest schools in Georgia will face off to see who comes out on top. Each team will be comprised of singer's that have been preselected by their peers to represent their school 

The winner will be determined by a panel of judges that all have experience in the music industry. Together, they will determine which two contestants will go on to the final round. There, a final winner will be chosen by crowd reaction. 

The grand prize winner will recieve numerous prizes, all donated by our industry partners, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a chartiy of the his/her choice.

Why should you sponsor?

This event, we feel, will manifest a great change in the music industry by inspiring students who might not have had the opportunity to get involved with music. If you look at music in schools today you would see that very few schools have strong music programs. Universities give very little funding to these programs so some schools must focus on external clubs to bring attention and get the experience these students need. We hope that the result of this event will encourage musicians and artists to project their music out to the world, possibly creating some more local superstars that could potentially receive a Grammy in the future. The talent that we will have on stage performing, all would have what it takes to get to that position in the industry, but first they need that recognition, they need that notice and encouragement to continue with their art. Untitled Opportunity was created, named, and branded for showcasing, encouraging, and inspiring those who have that ambition and drive to share their musical creativity with the world, but unfortunately have not been heard of.

Derek Jackson

Royland Walker (Creator) is a Marketing major with a minor in Film at Kennesaw State University. With an extensive background in Film Production and Event Planning, he hopes to use his training, talents and experiences to promote the talents of university students in an innovative way.

Royland's goal is to help promote the untapped potential of talented students at universities while making a difference in the community through philantropy. The philantropic goal will be achieved by soliciting monetary donations from the public that will be donated to the charity of choice selected by the competitions' winning artist(s).
