About the event

Welcome to the Conscious Parent Summit! This educational convention is brought to you by SW Serenity Wellness Inc and Willow Tree Productivity in order to raise awareness about services and options available to support parents through pregnancy, birth, transitioning to parenthood, the postpartum recovery journey and beyond.

Having gone through this rough transition ourselves, we see a need to unite under one roof the important resources in our community so that every parent or parent-to-be are empowered to make choices that will support their growing families at every stage.

Stephanie Mead

My name is Stephanie Mead, and when I'm not running my business or teaching up and coming Massage Therapists at Eastern College, I'm a mom to a 6 year old special needs daughter. Her entry into the world was for lack of a better word, filled with major challenges, and as a result, I wanted to make sure moms and parents from that point forth were better prepared for this change than I was.

I chose Autism Connections Fredericton as our charity for the door tickets for 2 reasons: They helped my family shortly after my daughter's diagnosis and continue to do so, and they are one of the least funded charities in Fredericton.

Their programs range from a tutoring program for school aged children on the spectrum, to sensory friendly summer camps and chat and chills for autistic teens.

We have compiled an incredible list of speakers and now we need help with the funding to ensure this event brings as much value as possible to these families who might not be able to access these resources. No one should experience a barrier like finances to education when it comes to having a child.
