BENEFITING & SUPPORTING: Recipe for Success / Veg Out!
ABOUT RECIPE FOR SUCCESS & VEGOUT!: Recipe for Success Foundation was launched in 2005 by Gracie & Bob Cavnar to combat childhood obesity by changing the way children understand, appreciate, and eat their food. This year marks the second annual VegOut! challenge to eat 30 different vegetables in 30 days.
Last year, 7,500 Houstonians took the VegOut! challenge. The city was flooded with messaging about vegetables, event Mayor Parker tweeted each day.
