About the event
TEDx events are carefully designed to encompass a broad spectrum of subjects, viewpoints and perspectives on wider themes and ideas. We encourage everyone to be open to opposite ideas (Antinomies!) which one would not naturally have chosen to engage with.
So, with this very first TEDxLambeth, we will give platform to unusual suspects, expose veiled expertise and share what is common to us all: humanity. A confluence of infectious and persistent ideas is what we support. We want to live in a society that observes, constructs and expresses through Antinomies.
TEDxLambeth is an inclusive space, welcoming people from all backgrounds, ages, genders, sexual orientations, races and ethnicities. We pride ourselves on reflecting diversity both in our audience and on stage.
To say a few words about this event, our speakers/performers in 2019 will participate around the theme of 'antinomies' or opposites, while individual topics will range from masculinity and emotion to soviet hippies to cognitive science by globally-renowned pundits such as Haralampi G. Oroschakoff, Jillian Hallam and Professor Andy Clark.
As we are nonprofit, all finances will be used to cover expenses (namely, refreshments, promotions, website maintenance, t-shirts). There are three packages in total, each containing a range of different benefits.
Why should you sponsor?
We at TEDxLambeth want to offer you a unique opportunity to join an exclusive line up of professionals, practitioners and protagonists in Lambeth and globally to nurture innovation and explore what’s next.
Those on the cutting edge of business, science, culture and art will present their innovations, ideas and opportunities, whilst offering those involved a platform to join the debate. The diverse speakers will be hand-picked to reflect the curiosity and creativity of not just Lambeth, but TEDx itself.
By becoming a Partner, you will:
• Associate your brand with a powerful worldwide brand and movement
• Meet the most diverse group of people you’ll ever attend an event with and reach true decision makers
• An incredible opportunity to showcase your innovative products and solutions to an engaged audience
• Our community, this year, includes 70 attendees, 12 speakers/performers who each have 10-15 minutes to talk/perform, partners who provide in-kind sponsorship or financial support and 20 volunteers putting it all together
