Why should you sponsor?
The Stratford Hall Wine and Oyster Festival presents an opportunity for sponsors with a goal of reaching a demographic of people with disposable income, interests in food and drink, and share an active lifestyle. This festival is one of the largest events held here on the Northern Neck and has won Savor Virginia Magazine's Best Wine Festival award three years in a row.
The packages go over what you will receive as a sponsor of the Wine and Oyster Festival, some of the incentives include booth space at our event, your logo on print materials, signs and our website, inclusion in social media promotion, and more. Last year there were over 5,000 attendees at the Festival and we are predicting an even larger crowd this year. Attendees come from all over Virgina, Maryland, and Washington DC! Don’t miss this opportunity for increased publicity and to invest in the local community.
Stratford Hall, home to four generations of the Lees of Virginia, is a historic site that has been welcoming visitors since 1935. Our site consists of 17 historic structures - including the 1738 Great House – set on over 1,900 acres on the Potomac River. Guided tours are offered, along with a wide array of educational programs. There is ongoing work to preserve Stratford’s historic resources (structures, objects, papers) and to further scholarship about the Lees of Virginia.
Stratford Hall hold over 30 events every year with our signature event being the Wine and Oyster Festival. This is the 11th year of the Wine and Oyster Festival and it continues to grow in popularity. With the increase in attendance we are now looking for outside sponsors to help us produce an amazing festival experience!
