  • About the event

    ST PAUL FUNDRAISING EXHIBITION

This exhibition is an opportunity to support six young filmmakers complete their American Film Institute thesis film - St. Paul.

This will also be a great opportunity to network with industry professionals. Photographs donated by AFI fellows, as well as by renowned cinematographer Dana Gonzalez, will be showcased and available for purchase.

A message from AFI producing fellow, Thomas Hartmann:

In a chaotic world of natural disasters and political upheaval, it's hard to prioritize donating to short films, and supporting young artists, but these things are more important now than ever.

Please help us make this film.

    Thank you,

    St. Paul team

    Why should you sponsor?

You'll help six young filmmakers and your donations to the event and film are tax deductable.

The American Film Institute is a Government recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, and holds tax exempt status. Donations made toward the film may be tax deductible under Section 170 of the U.S. Tax Code. A letter of acknowledgement from AFI will be sent for all contributions.

Please help us make this film.

    Thank you,

    St. Paul team

    Thomas Hartmann

Thomas Hartmann is a graduate of DePaul University with a degree in Communications. From a young age, Thomas was drawn to films and their ability to transport the viewer, for a brief moment, into other worlds and characters.

He is currently pursuing an MFA in Producing at the AFI Conservatory where he aims to create films that trigger conversations, particularly about subjects that are often not touched upon. During his first year at AFI, he produced seven short films, and is currently producing a film for Crypt TV while completing his thesis film.

In working on a variety of projects, he enjoys the freedom that imagination allows through intensive and fruitful collaborations.
