Showcasing Toronto’s brightest entrepreneurs, Open People Network has partnered with The City of Toronto and StartupHERE for our 6th #PitchItTOCityHall show at North York City Hall. PitchItTO is an entrepreneur-led, grassroots event that provides startups with a platform to market their product or service, drive brand awareness, and practice their funding pitch in front of potential investors.
Why should you sponsor?
Award youth with social credit that empowers them with an informal credential that demonstrates their authentic commitment to the startup community and serves as an indicator of their character for easier access to higher education, employment, housing, credit, and insurance.
You will be delivering a digital badge with your branding to each countMEin-registered participant, as recognition (a "thank you") for their demonstrated commitment to supporting Toronto's startup community.
Moreover, you will be issuing one of the world's first social credit credentials on a blockchain, and participants will collect the badge you issued in their social credit profile that they can share with relying parties who want to assess their reliability record. Your brand will be associated with leading-edge technology innovations that improve conditions for trust.
Finally, both the branded badges and social credit profile are shareable on social media (pre-scripted with appropriate hashtags) with a one-tap function. By incentivizing participants to post it and engage with the posting on social media you will benefit from much broader exposure than with typical event sponsorship programs.
I am an entrepreneur, launching an event sponsorship platform (http://countMEin.club) that helps sponsors engage directly with participants by acknowledging them with branded social media badges that expand brand exposure beyond the audience attending the event.
The upcoming OPN PitchIt York Meetup will be piloting our system. We are looking for sponsors to join us in the pilot in order to measure the incremental benefits of using a digital badging billboard as both an intimate brand engagement and social media awareness-building mechanism.
