  • About the event

AIESEC is the world's largest non-profit student-run organization. It is an international non-governmental not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development and cross-cultural global internship and volunteer exchange experiences across the globe, with a focus to empower young people so they can make a positive impact on society. The AIESEC network includes approximately 70,000 members in 127 countries and territories. It is the largest youth-run organization in the world.

For this event, we are inviting AIESECers from all over America to come to New York and experience a weekend of socializing, tours, great New York food, a BBQ on Roosevelt Island, and a rooftop gala to end the weekend!

    Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring AIESEC New York will give exposure of the brand to AIESECers from all over America, and exposure to AIESECers abroad when they see the posts that the students share. Also, being that AIESEC is the largest youth-run organization in the world, it makes them the best outlets for these brands.

    Nancy T

My name is Nancy and I am a junior at Baruch College. I am studying Financial Mathematics, and double minoring in Economics and Business Law. You might be thinking, "What in the world is this girl who's interested in doing business and finance doing in the public/ non-profit sector?". Well - great question! It took me a while to figure this out for myself too. I love numbers and seeing how things work, but I also love to help people in any way I can. So I realized I can take what I am good at, and apply it to my passion - helping people. I actively volunteer in my community, from tutoring, to soup kitchens, to helping organize events (such as this one). Then, in the summer of 2016, I went abroad to Peru through AIESEC and it was one of the best experiences of my life. AIESEC helped me to "get comfortable with being uncomfortable". I branched out and made new international friends, I learned to adapt to a new setting without knowing anyone before I got there, but most importantly - I learned to see things through a new perspective. I saw how the less fortunate lived first hand, and I saw how my volunteer work and experience with managing money helped me to help an NGO startup and make an impactful difference overall.
