  • About the event

Our annual festival 'Saving our planet one child at a time' aims to generate environmental awareness through collaboration with schools and parents. The event provides adults with access to educational resources from some of the regions most incredible organisations, and allows children to be engaged and inspired by taking part in some amazingly interesting and interactive activities.

We will also be attending the Devon County Show for three days in May 2018, where we will set up our 'Ocean Discovery Zone' that will aim to demonstrate some of the incredible environmental work taking place across the county. This will be the first time that there has been a specific marine conservation area at the event, and our pavilion will bring together organisations involved in marine conservation, education and research. The Ocean Discovery Zone will aim to raise awareness of marine conservation issues, through a series of interactive, hands-on and engaging activities delivered by some of Devon's leading and most interesting organisations, all of whom are striving to make a positive impact on the future of our oceans. http://www.edfestsouthwest.co.uk/ocean-discovery-zone/

    Why should you sponsor?

We want to raise awareness of environmental issues, inspire the next generation of eco-warriors and introduce children to the many ways in which they can do their part to make a difference. But, to do this, we need your help. Many of the organisations who are striving to make a difference are charities, community interest companies and volunteer groups. These groups attend our events for free, as raising awareness and educating is forefront in their ethos. This is why we want to provide an umbrella under which organisations, families, teachers and children can be brought together, and these very important messages can be relayed. We truly believe in a bottom-up-approach to raising environmental awareness and in supporting our event, you will play an integral part in supporting the future of our planet. In return you will receive substantial public exposure. Our Ocean Discovery Zone at the Devon County Show, will be the first of its kind and as such the show expects that we will receive a vast amount of media attention. The show also expects up to 90,000 visitors spannign the three days. Riviera FM have already agreed to broadcast from our marquee and Sky Ocean Rescue have provided us with their documentaries to play. The excitement is building...would you like to be part of it?
