We are thrilled to introduce you to our first annual Music Video Extravaganza, brought to by Sunshine Sound Center. This unique event will showcase the amazing creative talent of bands and artists in San Diego through a visual medium. Participants will have a chance to vote on their favorite music video, and the night will conclude with an award ceremony.

The event will take place Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Lafayette Hotel in San Diego.

Sunshine Sound Center is a nonprofit music label with a mission. We started in 2017 in San Diego, California. Our goal from the beginning was simple: to improve access to music, for artists and audiences in our community. Our dream is to have a community of artists where everyone helps to improve the music scene. We all have something to offer, and if we work together, we can become a more creative, innovative, and united society. We hope you will join us!

Christine Mathias

I am the program director for Sunshine Sound Center, a nonprofit music label with a mission.

I graduated from Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2009 and then opened my own legal practice in Vermont. Since that time, I have been committed to helping new businesses and nonprofits get off the ground and succeed, and to bring creative people together.

In the past few years, I co-founded and directed a successful nonprofit, Girls Rock Vermont. I have also worked in the financial department of a public library, served as treasurer for a local professional organization, and performed freelance web design.

Upon moving to San Diego, I was inspired by the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of those living in my community. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to launch Sunshine Sound Center, and I hope you will join me in our mission.
