Ride 40 Anniversary,

About the event

This year marks the 40th Twinning Anniversary between Richmond and Fontainebleau, 30 miles south of Paris. To celebrate, a truly unique 263 mile cycle ride is being staged from 13th September to Sunday 17th September 2017, in aid of local street child charity StreetInvest.

Riders will be welcomed home in styel at the Celebratory 40th Twinning Anniversary event at the Orleans House Gallery, Twickenhma, Riverside. The Mayor will prsetn Ride 40 Anniversary medals to all the fellow cyclists. There will be drinks, canapes, local art and music as well as a kid's area with a bike/scooter track, face painters, balloon artists...and more!

Marketing opportunities are available to sponsor Ride 40 Anniversary Fontainebleau to Richmond. This will mean that your company’s logo will be included on the event’s website (with link to yours), print collateral, road side banners and social media.

StreetInvest & TryTwickenham

StreetInvest is a local charity based in East Twickenham that improves the lives of tens of thousands of street children across the world by putting trustworthy adults into their lives.

These ‘street workers,’ build strong and trusting relationships with the children. They help them to be safer on the streets, foster a sense of belonging in their communities and support them to access their human rights. Most important of all, these relationships show the children that they are not worthless, that they are cared for and that they are not alone.

By pledging to raise a minimum £400 on the Fontainebleau to Richmond Cycle Ride our Street Workers will be able to support another 30 street children in the poorest of countries for a life-changing year.
