RETHINK: A Creators Showcase & Gathering,

About the event

RETHINK is a gallery evening hosted at the University of Waterloo’s School of Interaction Design and Business.

Our goal is to build a creative community, push students in their own creative fields and host conversations about our crafts.

• Displaying works from more than 50 of the campus’ best creatives experimenting in a wide range of mediums:

  • Art: From illustrations to curated playlists, podcasts to traditional painting styles to poetry & videography.

  • Design: Websites, marketing plans, UX, UI

  • Lighting Talks: Reflecting on the use of different mediums, diving into creative journies and sharing wisdom collected along the way.

  • Small Business Booths: Featuring freelance services offered by students ranging from clothing to illustration, videography to calligraphy.

  • Live performances, unexpected conversations & so much more

• We will be hosting up to 200 creatives from the:

  • Bachelors of Global Business & Digital Arts Program (GBDA)

  • Masters of Digital Experience Innovation Program (MDEI)

  • Locals from the Stratford & KW Area

I am a fifth year Global Business & Digital Arts Student. Over the past 2 years, I have curated 4 galleries collecting over 500 works from 160 creators. I'm excited to take this event to the next level to really give our student creators a larger platform to share their work. 

It's also extremely important to me and the Creators Collective Team to provide value to our sponsors. We want to make sure that we're helping you meet your goals & coming up with creative ways to do so. 

We started the Creators Collective to build a creative community at our campus and we can't wait to get you on board!
