About the event

•The Purpose behind this event is to ensure that every member of the community has a place to belong. Our Ministry is hosting the Community Matters Gala (CMG) to bring attention to the difference we make when we all come together and support those that are less off than us.

•This event will bring 200 people together with one purpose and that is to raise enough money to do the following:

•Supply a school with enough school supplies for the school year.

•Create a scholarship fund for seniors who come from poverty households.

•Create a career exploration program that provides career and education counselors to assist those from poverty households.

Why should you sponsor?

We are asking Sponors to support this event because we can't make this a reality without the help of the community. This is a oppitunity for anyone to give back and make a change in our communities.

Je'Rico Brown

My name is Pastor Je'Rico Brown I am from Chicago. I started this ministry in 2009, today we are planting our ministry in Colorado Springs. We chose to do this GALA as our first event in Colorado Springs because we want the community to know that our ministry is here to make a difference.  Our ministry is here to bring quality change and show the world that the church is here to be a help to everyone who needs us. This GALA will offer childcare so parents can have a good time and enjoy themselves and all the money we raise in this GALA we are going to use to supply school supplies to schools that are failing.
