ABOUT RRA:

Red Runway Africa is a fashion for charity event consisting of a day of fashion extravaganza which is poised to receive unprecedented press exposure and bring notoriety to local designers. It will also promote networking among fashion industry professionals including educators, retail buyers, fashion journalists, trendsetters and consumers.

Red Runway Africa aims at been Nigeria’s biggest fashion showcase where new and upcoming designers as well as experienced and renowned icons in the fashion industry will have the opportunity to showcase their designs on a grand scale. Celebrities in the African entertainment industry will feature as runway models for these designers and at the end of the day be nominated for various awards i.e celebrity model of the year, celebrity fashion designer of the year e.t.c.

A certain percentage of funds raised from the event will be donated to the less privileged, be it in form of cash, scholarships, employment, business startup, health etc. Through continued efforts Red Runway Africa will transform hundreds of young people's lives and contribute positively to the development of the less privileged in Africa.

Why should you sponsor?

RED RUNWAY AFRICA is actually going to be the first ever edition and the whole concept is new and has never been done before in Nigeria.

1. We intend using strictly celebrities in the African entertainment and film industry as runway models. 
2. 20% of the funds acquired from ticket sale, designers registration fee and sponsorship will be used to achieve some charity projects for this year 2018 which are: Donations to 2 charity homes and financial donation to 5 widows to setup a small business.
3. Awards will be presented to deserving individuals and major sponsors.

RED RUNWAY AFRICA is actually my first major event am organizing, I’ve nurtured this idea for almost 3yrs now while taking out time to meet with various celebrities and vips who will also be in attendance on that event day. Although I’ve organized smaller events in the past, RRA2018 is a far bigger event.

Am a sincere, smart and competent individual who knows what she wants for herself and company, and  would be a great pleasure having a sponsor who will find me trustworthy enough to work with me on this event which will definitely be beneficial to both parties in the long run.
