    RAGING SKILLET PROJECT:

    Emerson Theater Collaborative presents Raging Skillet a play by Jacques Lamarre, adapted from the book The Raging Skillet by Chef Rossi. The play is presented with specially catered dinner theater shows May 7-10, 2020. Rossi is the award-winning chef and owner of New York’s The Raging Skillet, the city’s “wildest catering company.”Exclusively catered dinners by Sedona’s Chef John, owner of J Wine Bistro and Chef Bryan, owner of Farm a Go-Go, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. are available for all of the evening shows.

    Chef Rossi will be attending all productions and events (See Other event happenings below). The cast includes *Kathryn Kates of Orange Is the New Black and Sienfield's (Babka Lady), Sarajane Alverson, and *Michael Patrick Trimm. 

    All shows will be at The Collective Sedona, 7000 AZ Hwy 179, Sedona, AZ 86351. In the Courtyard! Tickets can be purchased online at http://bit.ly/RGSPLAY. 

    Showtimes are May 7th and 8th at 7 p.m.,  May 9th at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., May 10th at 1 p.m. 

    Exclusively catered dinners by Sedona’s Chef John, owner of J Wine Bistro and Chef Bryan, owner of Farm a Go-Go, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. are available for all of the evening shows. 

    On May 10th, there will be a special Mother’s Day Brunch at 11 a.m. before the performance. 

    Show-only tickets are $35, show with dinner tickets are $75 (couples $135) and the Mother’s Day Brunch and show are $50.

    The Emerson Theater Collaborative (ETC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to serve youth, under-represented communities and artists with an emphasis on diversity, by producing innovative and thought-provoking theater both in southeastern Connecticut and Sedona, Arizona.  

    ETC explores timely themes and issues through new, original works and modern theatrical classics. We develop and nurture both emerging and professional artists, and collaborate with the Emerson College network of alumni and students.

    Camilla Ross

    Camilla Ross is a producer of theater, an educator and Navy Veteran. She is the current president and co-founder of Emerson Theater Collaborative whose mission is  to serve youth, under-represented communities and artists with an emphasis on diversity, by producing innovative and thought-provoking theater both in Sedona, Arizona and southeastern Connecticut. She is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston. Ms. Ross serves on the Sedona Conservatory Board. She is a member of the Sedona Chamber, Sedona Village Business Association, and the Southeastern Connecticut Women’s Network. 

    Camilla spent time studying with the Actor’s Workshop of Boston and draws on over 30 years of theatrical experience, ranging from commercials to regional theater, Camilla continues to lead and shape the Emerson Theater Collaborative from the ground up as one of the first professional theaters in southeastern Connecticut and in Sedona AZ.

    As an actress, Ms. Ross was last seen  performing Harriet Tubman in Lisa Giordano’s Harriet Tubman’s Dream for the Mary D. Fisher Theatre in Sedona  She performed in the 2015 co-production of “Freedom Trail” with the Farmington Valley Chorale in Farmington and Simsbury, CT and at Sturbridge Village for their “Freedom Week.” Camilla continues to tour as Harriet Tubman around the country. Her last directing project was Hour Farther by Tony-nominated playwright, producer, and actor David Greer. Hour Father featured Keith David from Oprah’s Greenleaf. 

    Camilla is a proud 14-year part-time business faculty member of the Three Rivers Community College in Norwich CT, teaching a variety of online business courses.  She is a proud member of Kappa Beta Delta and is the past president of the CT Emerson College Alumni Chapter. and in 2013, was given the honor of being selected Women of the Year by the Women’s Network of Southeastern CT. She is a member of the Global Sisterhood of women leaders, she is a published author and enjoys creating great theatre.

    Camilla was recently chosen to receive from the Arizona Community Foundation  the Community Collaborator of the year Award for the 19th annual Spirit of Sedona. This award was given to outstanding individuals, businesses, and community benefit organizations who have demonstrated exceptional philanthropic spirit, leadership and volunteerism through out Sedona and the Verde Valley. It’s an honor that still humbles her.
