About the event
RADIO and T.V ICON is an educative and innovative program to attain the integrity and professionalism in broadcast journalism. Radio and T.V icon will be an annually held event under the theme “UNLOCKING PROFESSIONALISM IN BROADCAST JOURNALISM”.
Over the years, Journalism in Ghana has lost its credibility. This is because, most people who are employed do not have the skills, qualities and training it demands. Also, there is this motto "whom you know" meaning with your training and skills, if you do not have any connections, you have a long way to go in other to achieve your dreams.
Radio and TV Icon is to create an avenue, for tv and radio managers to see and know the professional skils and training one has to entail to achieve credibility in this prestigious profession.
Also, it is to pave way for media practitioners and those who are interested in this field to know the ethics and duties of a professional journalist.
In this contest, they'll learn a lot, from content creation, presentation, posture and others.
Not only will it be educative but also entertaining.
