About our event

The Queen of the Surf — is a three-day longboard surfing competition that is all about women.

Here, girls are the main attraction. It is set to be the largest female longboard surfing contest in the world.

Besides surfing, there are also yoga, fitness and dance classes, seminars, autograph sessions, a hairstyling booth, all-female band and a female leadership summit because we want the event to send a positive message to all female athletes. It’s about empowering women, we want young girls to have role models to look up to.

Set to be staged at the iconic surf location of Kirra on the southern end of the Gold Coast in late February.

Some of the worlds best female athletes surfing with grace and poise in a competition powered by clean green waves.

Being part of Queen of the Surf is about being a strong, positive, stylish woman. It's about being comfortable within yourself, knowing who you are and what you represent.

Branding: Your Company brand (name or logo) would be incorporated into your chosen division relevant to your objectives with exposure on many of our marketing platforms, including some advertising and merchandising developed for the Australian Longboard Surfing Open. 2. Advertising: Your Company branding would appear in the advertisements promoting the Australian Longboard Surfing Open including some printed and some electronic advertising. Printed Advertising: Your Company brand will feature in advertisements promoting the event in Pacific Longboarder Magazine and official event programs, which are printed pre event and distributed locally and given away during event week. Electronic Advertising: Your brand will feature in advertisements in Liquify Magazine. 3. Website: Logo placement with a link from our website to yours. Our website is the main source of information for our competitors and attendees, not just during the event but for 12 months of the year. Competitors complete their online entries from the website and attendees can see program information and travel recommendations. 4. Media: To make the most of the media attention generated by the event a Media Manager is appointed to do copy, photos and distribution Australia wide as part of the package. Social Media: A dedicated Social Media Manager is appointed to market the event and sponsors involvement through many of the popular social media outlets.
