About the event
MedX hackathon's mission is to energize, infect and teach healthcare entrepreneurship and digital strategies to scale medicine as a way to solve health problems that are affecting India .
We believe that with some of the greatest talents on board , some great support from IISc one of the best Institute's in our country and with some of the best academics , professionals and companies on our side we can transform healthcare decisively for the better leading to an advancement in society as a whole .
The main aim of our Hackathon is to incentivise India's brightest to bring to the fore extremely creative and innovative solutions that can solve some of the greatest problems in healthcare .

As we are having a 24hr Hackathon, we expect great visibility for your products and as our participants come from all over the country, we can publicize your product to the whole country. Also, we have invited judges from very prestigious organizations.

Sainiranjan RamachandranWe are undergraduate students in the Indian Institute of Science engaged in research work that aims to impact a large multitude of people engaged in various aspects of society. Currently, we are aiming to address the problems caused due to insufficient health awareness, malpractices, and lack of innovations in healthcare, in our country India. We have observed that while India suffers from a large number of acute health problems such as obesity (WHO has defined India to be the Obesity capital of the world), diabetes, cardio vascular diseases etc. However, little have been done to address these concerns both at the grasroot level and at the industrial/administrative level. We aim to fill this gap by leveraging some of the finest minds and best corporations, all of which when brought together with support extended through governmental initiatives like Digital India thus transforming a large number of lives for the better.
