About the event

Gamers wanted! We host gaming events in the UK.

Our events will feature eSports (console game) tournaments from classic games like Tekken 3 and Super Smash Bros. to big names like FIFA, Call of Duty, Forza and Halo. 

Our events also include: VR headsets, table football, pool, air hockey, table tennis, giant connect four and more. 

Our primary goal is to provide an opportunity for amateur and semi-pro gamers to compete in a social, fun, and safe environment, whilst also getting recognised and rewarded for their skills. 

We also cater to the social gamer who wants to play games with a group of like-minded people, be part of a gaming community, or simply just have a fun day out. Just some of the games we hope will attract the casual gamer include the classic Crash Bandicoot, party games like Quiplash, and also board games such as Catan. 

Our services include organising the event, hosting at a modern venue with excellent facilities, establishing teams, organising the tournaments, providing food, and there will be prizes ranging from cash to remote control helicopters. Of course we will also provide all of the consoles, monitors, TVs, projectors, seating. Tea, coffee, and soft drinks will be available.

We have decided to host gaming events to resolve the problems our social group have faced:

• It's difficult to get a team of players together that will commit to playing at a specific time.
• We would love to meet like-minded people but don't have a way to connect with them.
• We are good at gaming but not at a professional level; we can't compete with the best but want to play competitively.
• We don't have access or can't afford all of the games we'd like to play.

With these problems in mind we have founded P-1.
