About the event
My organization ‘Pegasus Music Group’, Greek Fraternity ‘Phi Delta Theta’, and the ‘University of Central Florida- Rosen College of Hospitality Management’s Entertainment Management Program’ have partnered up to run a fundraising event for 2 UCF Greek brothers. One who was recently involved in a horrible motorcycle accident a few months back where suffered severe, life-changing injuries. To elaborate quickly, Radley Gillis was on his way home from work one night, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He was rushed to the hospital, lost mobility in parts of his legs & has undergone several surgeries. A GoFundMe page was created for him online and raised over $100,000, however he still needs more funds to cover for his medical expenses. The other student, Andrew Abbott, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and we want to put on an amazing event for the both of them.
The event is an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) concert event located on UCF’s Memory Mall fields on Friday, September 29th field from 4pm to 11:30pm. We expect a large attendance (1-5,000 students) as we will be marketing this concert out to every Florida Greek-life organization, UCF student, and Orlando population as a community rally to help fellow students in a time of serious need.
Why should you sponsor?
This is an amazing event to get involved for a few reasons:
- It has a great cause & will help support the medical bills of two students who's lives have changed dramatically over the past few months
- This will be a massive event in the college community of Orlando & your company will be seen by hundreds/thousands of college students & Orlando community members
- Not only will it be a big event, but a fun one too! We plan to make a large spectical and recording everything. So if your company would like to sponsor this, we would love to get them involved in any process of the event.
