About the event

Having been in the Wedding industry for over 5 years. I have seen time and time again how young engaged couples have to hunt around for the best deals in the wedding industry. Couples want to have the wedding of their dreams, while still maintaining a bank balance that allows them to start the lives of their dream.  

The best solutions to help save them time and money is a Bridal Expo. Bridal Shows attract the most energetic and enthusiastic crowds to the event. The Region of Peel has no shortage of Wedding Experts, however, they certainly need affordable ways to showcase their business and gain momentum in an increasingly competitive market.

With close to 40 vendors participating and over 1000 guests expected to attend, the Peel Bridal Show aims to gain momentum in delivering the best wedding vendors from the Peel Region to the Newly Engaged couples in the community.

What Demographics can we expect?

The Peel Bridal show is primarily catering to the wedding needs of the families within the Peel community.

Population: The Region of Peel has show considerable growth changes to it’s demographics over the past 5 years. Over the last few years, city census has show more people are moving into Brampton each year, giving Brampton a double-digit growth each time a city census is performed.

While Mississauga is ranked 6th in size in the top 100 populated municipalities in Canada. It has grown significantly after its initial development as a suburb of Toronto. The approximate population for 2014 was 878,000, which is a significant increase from the 2011 census report that confirmed 752,000 residents.

Age group: The average age of residents of Brampton is 36.5, with females at 37.3 and males at 35.8. 75 people within the population have made it to triple digits as of the 2016 census, but the bulk of the population are between the ages of 15 and 64, around 69%.

While only 20% falls below the age of 15 and 10% are between the ages of 65 and 84, with only 1% making it past their 85th birthday!

This shows that the there is a healthy portion of the population who would fall in the “Engaged/Ready to be engaged” age group of the population.

Over in Mississauga, 68.5% of the population are working age residents in Mississauga. This is second only to Russia in all the G8 countries!!! While only 10% of the population are of retirement age.
