About the event

The Pacific Orchid Exposition, the largest orchid show in the United States, is thrilled to announce its expansion to include more gardening delights in a brand new venue. Reflecting this expansion, the annual fundraiser is now aptly titled the Pacific Orchid and Garden Exposition. The new show features thousands of orchids and so much more. The event’s new venue will be at the San Francisco County Fair Building (also known as the Hall of Flowers). Next year’s show will occur February 24-26, 2017.

We are delighted to present this year’s show theme: “Big Ideas for Small Gardens.” The expo this year will have a special a focus on learning about pollination and helping plants thrive in apartments, on windowsills and in city environments.

Having trouble keeping your plants alive and healthy? Be sure to visit the “Plant Doctors” for advice on all your growing needs. Throughout the days of the event, docent tours and skilled horticultural experts will educate attendees with guided tours through the various intricate displays and award-winning flowers.

Gather tips on how to maintain the perfect garden while spending the day with your family and friends. You’ll find that this exposition is an ideal outing: with a silent auction, live music and beautiful flowers from all over the world, this is one show you won’t want to miss!

Why should you sponsor?

The POGE will showcase 10's of thousands of orchid flowers and other garden plants.  It will attract approximately 10,000 visitors locally and nationally.  Our audience is sophisticated. We target educated men and women (24 -70 years old) who make over $100,000.  This incredible 3 day event will provide docent tours, educational materials, lectures and potting demonstrations, along with an education day (also available for sponsorship opportunities) where we open to schools for free.  

This is a great opportunity to get in front of guests who love nature, plants and even fashion and design. San Francisco is the perfect hub to attrach new and young clientele especially since they are always looking for something new and creative. 

The tax-exempt sponsorship fee would help the San Francisco Orchid Society bring awareness to the importance of being envioromentally conscious in an urban setting. And as many people know, the prices in the city are rising and rooms are decreasing so it would be great to help guests learn how to effectively become green in such a small space.
