OTC Presents - BARE: A POP OPERA,

In Tandem Theatre, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States In Tandem Theatre, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States

  • About the event

BARE tells the story of Peter and Jason, two students and St. Cecilia's Catholic High School in love. Is their love strong enough to conquer the disapproval of their peers, their parents, their teachers, and even themselves?

    Why should you sponsor?

Since 2014, Outskirts Theatre has striven to bring thought-provoking and entertaining productions to our audiences. Our successes have led us to tackle our biggest production to date - BARE: A POP OPERA.

BARE tells the story of Peter and Jason, two students and St. Cecilia's Catholic High School in love. Is their love strong enough to conquer the disapproval of their peers, their parents, their teachers, and even themselves?

Along with this production, OTC plans to establish a "SafeStage" program. Our staff will be trained in the best ways to create a safe, inclusive environment for out LGBT artists, and that training will be implemented into the cast and crew as well. We hope to grow this into all of our future productions, and to be able to aide other theatre companies in taking similar steps.

We're so excited to bring the incredible musical to life - but we need your help! From venue rentals, to music royalties, to plaid skirts... we've got some hefty fundraising to do. Consider donating to our productions and helping Outskirts continue to make a difference, on stage and off.

    Help spread the word!
