About the event

The International Institute of Charismatic Leadership is an exciting and dynamic leadership program aiming to broaden horizons, develop knowledge and understanding, and build charismatic leadership potential.

This March 28th, IICL is celebrating its Opening Ceremony, which will be an opportunity to meet and to listen leaders from different professional sectors. They will share their thoughts and ideas about leadership, inviting everyone to debate and broaden their sphere of understanding leadership.

We will be hosting:

• Rosina Gómez-Baeza, President of Factoría Cultural Madrid, and former director of ARCO, the International Fair of Contemporary Art

• Oscar Izquierdo, General Director of Ray Human Capital, a leading consulting company in human resources

• Virgilio Oñate de Mora, Honor President of SECOT, a non-profit consultancy association

• Álvaro Salafranca, General Director of Starbucks Spain and Portugal, Fridays, and Wagamama

The conference will also include an IICL workshop so participants can put their skills to practice, learn how to own the room, and boost their charisma. Everyone's participation in this international event will be recognised with an official IICL certificate.

By joining IICL, not only you will discover a new space for ideas but will also contribute to a greater cause. All proceeds will be donated to the Spanish Association for Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer, to further help today’s youth foster a better tomorrow.

This is why all of our proceeds are donated to the Spanish charity “Asociación española de Adolescentes y Adultos Jóvenes con cancer” (http://www.aaacancer.org). This charity is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to adolescents and young adults who suffer from cancer.

IICL was created to foster leadership in today’s youth so they can realize the positive changes they want to see in tomorrow’s world.

Our dynamic world requires an adeptness in more than just our academic education: young adults need to be able to communicate with different groups, make important decisions, negotiate effectively, utilize their resources of power, and develop an invigorating vision. That is where IICL comes in – we seek to foster leadership skills in young adults to help them realize their full potential and contribute to a greater purpose.

Leaders come in all shapes and sizes. We view leadership as a set of skills which can be learned and developed. To better understand the phenomenon of charismatic leadership, we conduct rigorous research which informs our high-quality training materials and services.

Why is leadership important? A good leader knows not only how to speak to others’ minds but also how to touch their hearts. These skills are crucial for our professional lives as much as our personal lives, which is why we believe in the value of developing young adults’ leadership skills. Finally, all our proceeds are donated to the Spanish charity “Asociación española de Adolescentes y Adultos Jóvenes con cancer” (http://www.aaacancer.org), because in the end, leadership is about contributing to a wider cause.
