NSCRO South All Star 7s rugby tournament,

Eckerd College, Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States Eckerd College, Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States

  • About the event

The National Small College Rugby Organization is hosting the inaugural NSCRO Women's All Star 7s Championship at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL.

The South All Stars will be made up of players from Eckerd College, Lee University (TN) and St. Andrews University (NC).

We are looking for jersey sponsorship for the tournament. We currently do not have our own jerseys.

The tournament will be live streamed on the NSCRO website and watched by thousands. We want to look our best and show off your company on our jerseys!

    Why should you sponsor?

NSCRO is one of the fastest growing rugby organizations in the world with more than 500 teams in the United States eligible for NSCRO competition.

The All Star 7s tournament brings together the best of the best from 8 regions to compete in a weekend tournament and crown the first every NSCRO All Star 7s Champion. The tournament also serves as a selection vehicle for the NSCRO Selects who will compete in the Las Vegas Invitational, the largest rugby tournament in North America.

The tournament will be held on the beautiful campus of Eckerd College, located directly on Boca Ciega Bay in St. Petersburg. The rugby field backs up directly to the on campus beach.

The tournament will also be live streamed by NSCRO to thousands of viewers worldwide.

The return is much greater than the cost of sponsorship, and will give these hard-working women a bit of a reward for being selected to an All Star team.

    Mike Geibel

I am the head coach of the Eckerd College Sirens women's rugby team. My passion is growing the game of rugby in the United States. Since I took over as head coach of the team, the Sirens have reached the Sweet 16 in the national tournament for two straight years. We also have sent several players to All American camps and other high performance opportunities across the country.

This is my first opportunity coaching representative-level rugby and I want to make a good impression on the rugby community. My players work hard and are dedicated to being positive role models on and off the pitch. We work in the community and mentor younger athletes.
